Brassington Bros Ltd is a family run independent business. Founded by Lewis Wood Brassington in 1901, now run by the 4th and 5th generations.
Based in Hanley, City centre of Stoke on Trent, we moved in to the present premises in 1938, which was a temporary position at the time. However the position and large warehouse to the rear made it an ideal position and has remained so ever since.
Lewis Brassington wanted to sell quality footwear for all the family. This mantra has been carried on through the decades, hob-nailed clogs kept us going through the depression of the 1930s, austerity styles through the two world wars and good, quality footwear now.
When you buy from Brassingtons you can be assured that we pick the finest quality of goods, whether it is the leather uppers, rubber soles or most durable of laces and polishes.
We have been selling some of the most well-known brands of shoes for a long time. Doctor Martens have been sold by us since the 1960s and Dunlop wellies for even longer. We also have some experience with online transactions since 2010 when we set up our eBay account, where we receive almost 100% customer satisfaction.
The main brands we stock are Dr Martens, El Natura Lista, Loake, Padders, Petasil, Pods, Rieker, Sanders, Van Dal, Waldl?ufer, a variety of Wellingtons and a wide range of slippers including wide fitting Velcro styles stocked all year round. Plus a range of lower priced unbranded footwear which we find useful for sandals, slippers, boots and safety work boots.
